Overview
TB-500 is a short synthetic peptide modelled on the active region of thymosin beta-4, a protein involved in cell movement and tissue repair.
This listing is Vita Science TB-500 5 mg (5 mg), photographed as we ship it and priced in Canadian dollars.
How it works
Thymosin beta-4 binds actin, a building block of the cell skeleton, and helps cells migrate to injured areas. TB-500 is designed to reproduce that region.
Clinical reference
There is no approved human dose. It is prohibited in sport.
Reference information from product labels and clinical literature only. It is not a recommendation or dosing advice for you; any use should be set and monitored by a doctor.
Measuring calculator
Type the amount from your prescription or clinician; the calculator only converts it. It does not suggest how much to take.
Vial contains 5 mg. U-100 insulin syringes have 100 units per ml.
Combinations and interactions
- Often researched with BPC-157.
- Interactions: not studied.
Risks and side effects
- Limited human data. Most research peptides have not been through full clinical trials, so long-term effects are unknown.
- Sterility. Freeze-dried peptides must be reconstituted with sterile technique; contamination can cause abscesses.
Do not use it if you are pregnant, under 18, or have active cancer.
TB-500 5 mg is a freeze-dried powder. After it is mixed with bacteriostatic water it is normally injected under the skin with a short insulin needle. These are the three standard subcutaneous areas; rotate between them. Finding it. Anywhere on the belly at least 5 cm from the navel, away from scars and the waistband. Pinch a fold and inject into it. Why it is used. The most fat, steady absorption and easy to see. Watch for. Move each injection a few centimetres from the last to prevent lumps. Nursing reference volume: Up to about 1 ml Finding it. The middle of the front of the thigh, a hand-width below the hip and above the knee. Why it is used. Easy to reach and a good rotation partner for the belly. Watch for. Absorption can be a little slower than the abdomen. Nursing reference volume: Up to about 1 ml Finding it. Halfway between shoulder and elbow on the back of the arm. Why it is used. Adds a third area to rotate through. Watch for. Hard to reach on yourself; a helper is useful. Nursing reference volume: Up to about 1 ml Every time: wash your hands, swab the stopper and skin with alcohol, use a new sterile needle and syringe and never share. See a doctor for spreading redness, heat, swelling, fever or numbness. This is general reference information from standard injection guidance, not medical advice.
