Sermorelin 5 mg is a freeze-dried powder. After it is mixed with bacteriostatic water it is normally injected under the skin with a short insulin needle. These are the three standard subcutaneous areas; rotate between them. Finding it. Anywhere on the belly at least 5 cm from the navel, away from scars and the waistband. Pinch a fold and inject into it. Why it is used. The most fat, steady absorption and easy to see. Watch for. Move each injection a few centimetres from the last to prevent lumps. Nursing reference volume: Up to about 1 ml Finding it. The middle of the front of the thigh, a hand-width below the hip and above the knee. Why it is used. Easy to reach and a good rotation partner for the belly. Watch for. Absorption can be a little slower than the abdomen. Nursing reference volume: Up to about 1 ml Finding it. Halfway between shoulder and elbow on the back of the arm. Why it is used. Adds a third area to rotate through. Watch for. Hard to reach on yourself; a helper is useful. Nursing reference volume: Up to about 1 ml Every time: wash your hands, swab the stopper and skin with alcohol, use a new sterile needle and syringe and never share.
