Liothyronine Sodium otherwise known as T3 works as an agent for increasing the metabolism rate in our cells. This means that the rate at which cells absorb nutrients into the body is increased. As a result athletes can use T-3 to drastically increase their fat burning capabilities for cutting weight quickly. Generally athletes will take T-3 in stages throughout the year allowing for at least 3 to 4 months off of a T-3 cycle so that their body chemistry can normalize.
When discovering the right dosage for you it’s important to start small and work your way up to the optimum dosage for your training needs. Generally athletes will start with a 25 MCG tablet on their very first day increasing the dosage every 2 to 3 days until a maximum dose of around 100 MCG’s is reached. It’s important to split up this dose start your day to keep the right blood and medication levels. Generally athletes will take this medication for around six weeks, gradually weaning their body off of the maximum dosage down to the original 25 MCG dose when they plan on ending their cycle.
