hey there and welcome back to my channel we are officially seven days out from the kickoff of the 2018 season in today's video I'm gonna take you along with me to Greenville South Carolina to meet with my opposing coach we have a little bit of work to do before I step on stage so stay tuned posing is one of those things that requires a lot of practice especially for me I am a sneakers and flip-flops kind of girl all the time when I go to work I'm inflect I really don't believe in heels except for special occasions where I require a dress because if I can wear slacks I'm usually wearing flat shoes it's not that I don't like to be tall I've always wanted to be taller but heels just are not my thing so posing requires practice one because there is a art to it in order to do it you need to do onstage be relaxed be comfortable be fluid as well as not look like a robot on stage it's always good to have somebody on the outside look at you especially as your as your body is changing then you can tweak things they see things that you don't see when you record yourself I highly recommend recording yourself when you are practicing by yourself it helps you see things that you weren't sure of or that you didn't notice as you're looking at one part of your body versus the whole thing because your eye never catches everything while it's happening but first things first before I get to Greenville I need to start my water water has been upped to two gallons today I've shared before water is the hardest part of my journey I can work out till I'm blue in the face I can get my cardio done usually my coach has to pull cardio for me because she refers to me as a cardio bunny it's not that I like to be in the gym going on and on and on but if you let me lace up my sneakers I'm out on the pavement but anyhow the water part that's the struggle it is almost 8 o'clock I'm gonna haven't started yet but I'm starting with a big big cup of tea that I'll take in the car because it's a little chilly outside today anyhow I'm sure along the way we'll make several stops because the bathroom will be calling it's one of the things that people don't necessarily talk about during prep or through this process is the amount of water you take in go with two gallons today pray for me ok I am almost to Greenville I am probably about 20 ish so minutes away lots of bathroom stops I am stopping for the second time I'm gonna try and drink another 25 ounces so that when I get there I'll go again and I'll be at I guess three quarters of a gallon in two hours since I started about I'll be three hours since I started a little bit after eight o'clock but drink all the water pee all the time I'm feeling much more comfortable in regards to my posing for this season things are still changing with my body but making the trip to Greenville to see Bobo is absolutely fabulous he is a judge and has continued to watch me evolve since I started competing so that makes it even better today we worked on a lot of the essentials my hand placement my hand movements how I hold my hands it's very interesting because I think I said earlier that sometimes you don't see all the things and I definitely didn't see some of the things that he pointed out I have this week to work things out to be more comfortable be more fluid it's my goal to when I step onstage be more aggressive as he would like to see as opposed to being passive as I walk up to the spots and then hit my poses but start from the moment my toe hits the stage I'll continue to share more this week as I get ready to hit the stage on Saturday I can't believe it's here please don't forget to like this video and subscribe so you can keep up with me and what's going on as we continue this season thanks for watching
