Dallas McCarver – DO WHAT’S HARD

Are you willing to push yourself farther? And push the limits harder? And push yourself through plateaus outside of your comfort zone? I put so much into this, you know I put SO much into this For the last 6 years of my life I've just been dedicated to this And I wanted it, I wanted that sht so bad Work ethic will take you a long long way 99% of people never even realize what you're capable of Because you never committed everything you got to a cause I never stopped for a second and go maybe I'm just not genetically good enough maybe I should not try this hard It's not the attitude you can have 90% of us bodybuilders or any other professional athletes or whatever Started this journey, it's not like it was oh I got superior genetics I'm gonna kill it You just gotta bust your ass The warmup is over, now we're gonna start working You guys don't know what your genetic potential is because you don't know what your work ethic over a long consistent period of time is And I think you would realize that a lot of that genetic potential Is working your A$$ off! I never dreamed in a million years I'd be somebody that this many people could be behind and support And I'm just thankful and blessed to have it And I promise you, I'm gonna keep busting my A$$ I'm gonna keep moving forward I need to find a winning formula I got a work ethic like nobody else And I'll figure it out I'm gonna stay positive Can't get me down too bad And one of these days I'ma nail that sh*t !! This is everything I've worked for right here

WORKOUT Tunes

See that man doing crunches? He has quite a bit more to go You know how I know? Because he's still too ashamed to be crunches without his shirt on This means he's either modest, fat, or has a poor self image :( Awww poor guy doesn't think he's cute Don't worry Mr Workout Man you keep working on those abs and listening to this sweet playlist and then some woman someday will think you're worth the time of day Probably not for a while though so keep at it!

GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE

I would say to your own self be true Find out who you are, what your gift is, what you love Eat what you like to eat, go where you like to go, be you You will find out that when you're you You will attract YOU You will attract all the happiness and the wealth that you can by being you But if you're fake You can't do it It's all mental, people don't get it This person says it's 12 steps, and everybody is trying to get the steps Without THE MENTALITY It's like OK maybe you don't need all 9, maybe you don't need all 8, maybe you need 4, maybe you need 12 I DON'T KNOW If it was easy everybody would do it But there's a MINDSET It's a mentality!! And a lot of people are missing that mentality You can't ever feel comfortable So even when you wanna wind down in the evenings You sit in your sofa Trying to relax You just do not ever feel comfortable You just don't ever feel comfortable AND I LOVE IT Being pushed to the limit Focus on bodybuilding 100% Having not to worry about anything, just let those guys take care of me My coach is with me everyday Cardio, weighttraining, all in Looking at me everyday It's a lot of visualization It's a lot of feeling the music It's a lot of just making sure you can see yourself in hitting those shots Honestly I responded in a way they ain't seen nobody respond before We knew it was about to happen

Jay Cutler – IT TAKES AN EXTREME MENTALITY

If you don't have the right mentality to be able to do this on a regular schedule day in a day out And push yourself beyond your imagination Then you're not gonna be the best of the best It takes extreme to do that You're not born with that, you're not born with that mentality You have to learn, sometime just through failures Failures sometimes build a better person If I was just given you know great talent, given to ability to just win everything I ever did I don't know if I would have the mentality to bounce back after the losses, injuries or whatever else I know the defeats are what build me as a better bodybuilder And a better person in life in general LOVE the challenge man! Enjoy the challenge!! You're like holy sht can ''Can I really look like this?'' You know I would go in the gym and I would train and I would focus between each set And be OK this next set I'm gonna do add 10 more pounds, or add 20 more pounds And I'm gonna get extra reps out of it, and I'm gonna squeeze, I'm gonna contract this way All about the contraction man 17 inches now + 5 Realizing the time I spent in the gym was extreme But I still go to the gym on a daily basis because it's the best part of my day It's the time that I feel that I'm able to relieve any kind of stress and be in a great headspace I push myself where the repetitions turn into pain But it's a pain that I know is a great place for the body Because we're trying to improve and continue to hold onto muscle tissue I mean to have big body parts is easy to a lot of these guys at that level BUT To have the conditioning factor on top of it That's sometimes that's just years and years of training Winning or losing didn't validate who Jay Cutler was It was validated by, I had a GOAL And that was to be the best I could be A STRONG MIND and a STRONG PERSONALITY and the COMMITMENT to being at your absolute BEST In what your passion is That's one that I could tell you Lifting weights was my passion because I loved it When you're passionate about something, you can only be great at it
